I kept thinking this was just another enemies-to-lovers story - then I realized Summer was getting punished for something her mom did, not her.
Save this if you like messy drama with actual layers.
And if you’ve watched Things I Wanted to Say, tell me this: was Whit protecting himself... or just being cruel?
What hit me most was how the story twists “revenge” into something more uncomfortable.
Whit doesn’t just hate Summer - he turns her into a target because loving her would mean risking heartbreak.
And Summer?
She’s stuck paying for choices she never made.
That’s what made this series work for me.
Dark, toxic, dramatic - but weirdly hard to look away from.
Also, Sylvie lowkey carried parts of this for me. She knew exactly what was happening before anyone admitted it.
