I went into Waterboy Second Down thinking it would just be another sequel... then it pulled me all the way back into the original trope š
Drop a š„ if you love a messy second-chance story.
Skye + Declan are still ridiculous togetherāthe chemistry is doing half the work and the emotional damage is doing the rest.
What got me was how the sequel actually builds on the first one:
The breakup hurts more because it was supposed to be āfor his futureā
The assistant/waterboy setup brings them right back into each otherās orbit
The ending lands because it finally feels like they chose each other out loud
And yes, I am once again saying this cast is stacked.
Skye and Declan always make me want to rewatch everything they touch.
