I'm your host, Megan, and today we are talking about Drue Luna on Real Show It And this is one of the first ones I watched, and I've been dying to do this one for quite some time now. So this stars Grace Wood Swanson as Emma Parker and Nicholas Erne Ruckrigus as Logan Carter. So the synopsis is, when Emma Parker turned eighteen, she discovers her fated mate is Logan Carter, the alpha of her pack, but that happiness is short lived when Logan rejects her for another she Wolf. Soon after, Emma learned that she is no ordinary wolf and that many gangerous people are after her. Alpha, Logan rejects Emma, so why is he willing to risk it all to keep Emma safe? So my overview for this is Emma Parker has always had a crush on Logan Carter, who just happens to be her alpha. On her eighteenth birthday, she finds out she's faded mates with Logan. Logan has chosen someone else. He has chosen. He has chosen she Wolf Sienna More even after rejecting Emma as his mate, Logan can't seem to let her go, and this doesn't make Sienna happy. Sienna ends up having Emma and her best friend Amy kidnap as a way to get rid of Emma. Amy ends up dead, and Emma unleashes a power she didn't know she had. After rescuing Emma, Logan and Andrew, Logan's beta and Emma's brother, dig into Emma's wolf. They learned that Emma is no ordinary wolf and try to keep it

1:32 from her. Emma finds out, not knowing that this means they must protect her. Meanwhile, they have been dealing with the world King, who just so happens to be looking for Emma. He just doesn't know it yet. After Sienna escapes from Logan's punishment for trying to kill Emma and killing Amy, Sienna runs to the rogue King. She tells him where to find the one he's looking for. The witch that was forced to help him reaches out to Emma to try and help. They form a plan to bring down the Rogueing and Emma can save the one she loves. After dealing with the Rogue King, Emma and Logan are finally able to be together. Just when they thought they were finally going to be happy on their wedding day. Another Alpha interrupts, telling Emma he's her mate.

2:15 So jumping into some of these talking points. So this is one of the ones that I wrote a while ago, so I didn't do it through the notes the same way that I've done it for my newer series, So it's a little bit different how it's written. So bear with me a little bit, but we're gonna get there. So one of the first notes is Emma's disappearing mark. She had a simple on her chest that comes and goes all through training. At one point it wasn't there, and then suddenly it's back, it appears, it disappears, and it's never really mentioned. So this was one thing that really kind of stuck out to me, is that there was the symbol on her chest that just appeared in some scenes and then disappeared in other scenes, and then reappeared again and then disappeared again, and it was never really mentioned about it. I think it had something to do with the pack and or maybe it had something to do with the fact that she was the true Luna that was like her wolf, but it was never really mentioned, and maybe it does get mentioned in the book that this is based off of, or the written version that this is based off of, but just in this series it never got mentioned. And it was just one of those things that just kind of drove me a little crazy that I was just like, Okay, so one minute, the mark's here and then it's not. So just sometimes those annoy me, but I can let it go and still enjoy the series. But it was just like, what's the point of this? And then the next thing that kind of was a little annoying but also kind of funny at the same time, is so there was

3:47 a phone recording a moment where Sienna hurts Emma, but when they actually look at the phone in the video later on, it looks like it's a recording a screen and not an actual vis recording, because it like it had the lines and it had the little record button, so it looked like it was recording the phone screen and not the actual video. And I just I love when you see kind of mess ups like that, and I just thought that was that was funny how that looked. But I know, sometimes depending on the effects you have, it can be a little bit hard to figure out what might look best. But That was just one of those ones that I was just like that, that's a screen recording of a foo of a you know, the phone, not an actual video recordings. It was just a little funny for me. And then the other topic, the next topic I had was the cliffhanger. There was two in this one technically, and it drove me crazy that there was never any resolution and there probably is again in the written version, so may have to read that just to see. But it drove me crazy that there was never any resolutione for this one, just like there was never any resolution to the one for the Unwanted Bride of Atticist Fawn. So these were the two ones that I'm like, I wanted a resolution and I never got it.

5:11 I just said this ended with two cliffhangers that were never resolved. The first one was Emma getting a new mate, which is a little which I said, makes a little bit more sense now that I watched it again. Then the second one was Anna who was the witch and then the Moon Goddess and said Anna had showed Emma her worst failer fear to help Anna herself. And then the moon Goddess mentioned that she wasn't the real Moon goddess, but also that the Moon Goddess mentions that Emma had another test to pass, and I'm just like, what what are these? What do I need to do? What's happening? I need to find out what happens next. Give me more. And Real short has also kind of put it on voting for a sequel, and it was so closed one time but never happened. So I would love a sequel to this one, just to see what happens next, because then my next point is about the wedding and then about the actual Alpha Nate. So I had said about the wedding that I, for summer reason, I thought the wedding was outside, not in a church. I just I remember it that way when Alpha Nathan showed up. But then I thought maybe I switched it or mixed it up with another series. But yeah, for some reason, I remember the wedding logan and Emma's wedding being outside, so I was very confused when I saw it in a church.

6:32 I was like, wait, that's not how I remember it, which is kind of something that I've realized with some of the older series is like the ones that I haven't seen in a little bit and I'm like, I'm remembering this totally wrong. So sometimes it's fun to go back to the ones that he watched early on and be like, oh, yeah, that's right. I did totally forget this. So that's my hope to kind of go through some of the older series too, which is why I'm doing it with this one. And now, like I said, going into Alpha Nathan, which is a point I had made earlier, which was the whole her having a new maid said, the whole Alpha Nathan mate ending. I get that since Logan rejected her, she could end up with the new mate, But since they marked each other, wouldn't that make them mates again? So how couldn't Nathan be her mate? Or does this turn into choose a mate situation with Emma and Logan? Now are they supposed to believe as true Luna, she has more than one mate? Could Alpha Nathan being her mate be the test of loyalty that was mentioned by the Moon Goddess that Emma must choose to stay loyal to Logan and not choose Nathan. So that's kind of where I thought that this whole Alpha Nate thing was going that Either it's because she's true Luna so she has more than one mate, or it's the test of loyalty that the Moon Goddess mentioned Emma must pass.

7:56 Now I figured that it's more or less the test of loyalty that she has to choose Logan over Nathan, which I could see them doing that, which I feel like that's where that's going to. So again, I definitely need to kind of find the written and kind of read what happens next just to see because I fear we won't get a sequel anytime soon. So my last note, as I mentioned with the Unwanted Bride of attikist Fahn, is this is one of the first series that I watched on for verticals. It was one of the ones that was on TikTok all the time. You saw the crush scene and the rejections she seen on TikTok just about every other scroll. Like I said, with attikist Fahan one, they played that one, that bedroom room scene that I mentioned from Unwanted Bride of attikist Fahn on TikTok. It's like those were the scenes that you saw advertising these on TikTok all the time, and what really drew me into the series to make me go, I need to watch this. What is this? And I need to watch it?

8:59 So now here we are years later and I'm obsessed with them. So it's all thanks to this one and the unwanted bride of Attaka's Fawn. Now going into my overall thoughts, I said, this was one of the first ones I watched. As I had mentioned, it was shown all over TikTok along with Attika's Fawn. After seeing the ads so many times, I finally found it, watched it, and I was so upset at the ending because it was a cliffhanger and I wanted to know what happened. Next mentioned there's the series, the written series, and I can see that when I search for it. There's a couple books, so I said, might check them out. As I've mentioned before, I didn't know how verticals worked at first, so I thought new episodes got added like the novel apps.

9:44 It just kept waiting to see when the new episodes would drop, and it never happened. I soon learned that verticals do not work like that, But still no sequel. Keep hoping one day we will get a sequel, and then went into saying it's like I don't know if Nicholas, who plays Logan still does verticals or acts at all. So then I was like, could they do a sequel or would they have to recast? I mean, I still have hope one day this one and Atticist Fahon can get a sequel. Sure. I mentioned that in my Atticist Fon review two, and then I had said, how you know, when you first saw the ads for these ones, you question what is this, not realizing what it would become all these years later. I will forever be grateful for these two verticals because they gave me this world in space to love. These two will always hold a special place in my heart because, as I said, they started me on this vertical journey and now here we are.

10:37 So I know it wasn't the best overall review, but I did love the series. It was great. I highly recommend it. If you have not seen it, you should. It again was everywhere when these were first starting out, and I highly recommend you seeing it because it is very good and I enjoyed it very much, with the exception of the Cliff Hagger, but without that it was still very good and I still enjoyed every minute of this. So getting into my reading for it, I gave it a seven out of ten, which there were some moments in it that could have been better, but again, they're early on verticals, so they were good for the start.

11:17 I can only hope that if we did get a sequel that maybe it would be that much better and that maybe there'd be like a bit more special features. I don't know, but I'm going to hold out hope for that. For that sequel, I'm holding out hope. It's never gonna happen, but I'm still holding out hope. But anyways, So, as I said, was this one of the first series you watched? Did those TikTok ads draw you in? Have you read the written material or the novel that went along with the series? Just kind of interested to know your thoughts on this version verse, what the written version was, Did you like it, does it compare? Did they change anything that you wish they didn't?
